At anuga, 470 companies out of 6600 exhibitors had arrived from China. The majority of them was part of a group participation which had their stalls one after another in the Rheinparkhalle at Koelnmesse.

The Rheinparkhalle was a bit away from the other new halls, but still visitors found their way to see the exhibitors there. A man conveyor belt transported the people. Also some Indian companies had been placed in that hall due to their late bookings for exhibition space, they told FoodIndustryIndia.com.

The Chinese companies had less language problems as expected and as heard earlier from. Many persons spoke English. And many had brought at least one person – younger Chinese ladies in some cases - who were able to talk in English and even in German so that communication was always possible.

Anuga was also the platform for uncomplicated Indo-Chinese discussions, as can be seen on the photo. A gentleman from Chandigarh visited the stall of Qingdao Sungree Foodstuffs, a food processing company from Qingdao which is in the business of frozen vegetables.
